AR, AI…what do they mean? AR, VR, VI d1 are three terms causing havoc in the design industry. The consumer is investing more in exciting technologies, especially wearables. It’s only it Satter of time before designers have to decide: Learn how to design AR and VR apps or be forced out by designers who tried to keep up with the times.
Learning new things cannot be very comforting, so let’s firlet’sfine what these terms such as NAI,AR.VRd1
AR: Augmented Reality. This technology augments your real-life experience with AR,VR and VI d1. You can show your children a wombat in their room using your smartphonsmartphone’sVR: Virtual Reality – This term describes fully virtual experiences using special google-like devices.
AI: Artificial Intelligence. AI is different than VR and AR because it doesn’t wdoesn’tthe user’s perception. It is a technology that is under the hood. This is how Spotify decides what song to play next. It’s the Its of gathering and processes large amounts of information to improve user experience and tailor it to each user.
It’s not It’s AR or VR, but AR and AI. They’re bThey’rendalone technologies with different uses (though AR can be considered a subset of VR).

Although I could describe augmented reality in technical terms (and I don’t know thidon’tcould anyway), I won’t help anyone. So I’ll just I’ll you an example. Pokemon Go is the most popular AR-driven app you have ever heard of.
What better example could you give?
The reality aspect of the game is you are walking in real-world environments. However, the virtual aspect of the game’s representation of the real world is with computer graphics. You can see the Pokemon through your device’s camera when you catch it. These maps are also used to show real-world landmarks such as Pokestops.
Virtual reality extends this concept to a whole new dimension. However, augmented reality is simply a mixture of actual and virtual reality.
Snapchat is another example. It uses facial recognition software ( ) to do something to your face using the device’s device).
Google Translate allows you to use your device camera to translate foreign-language items (such as packaging) into other languages.
AR & Design
First, don’t makdon’tAR an app just because it’s trenit’sAR won’t impwon’tany app if AR doesn’t work for the users you are designing it for.
Because Pokemon Go is an AR app, it works great.
People are already “out-and-” bout,” so it c “creates a sense of adventure in a world that could otherwise feel mundane.
Pokemon has been about exploration, or “travel[i “g] across [the land],” as the “brand was originally described.
Augmented reality works best when users don’t needon’tlearn new tricks. So use the technology they already know how to use. The device camera, maps, etc.). Finally, I recommend you download AR apps such as Google Translate. The more AR apps you use, the easier it will be to design and empathize with them.

What about Virtual Reality (VR) from VI and AI?
Virtual reality allows you to immerse yourself in a 3D environment that uses fake sounds and visuals to trick your brain into believing it is real. It is intended to enhance the gaming experience and other situations in which the user wishes to experience something like it was real. Imagine experiencing something without actually experiencing it. As if the menu were real, imagine interacting with it.

Artificial intelligence expands every month into new engineering and manufacturing areas. What is artificial intelligence refers to a specific area of computer science that is designed to execute tasks that typically require human intelligence? AI is rapidly evolving, with innovations in deep learning, machine learning, and other areas, shifting the direction of the technology industry.

AI and Design
Sometimes artificial intelligence can be very creepy. Anyone who has ever asked a website, “Hey, how “did that know about me?” This is “what you will see. It makes perfect sense in hindsight. Websites keep track of what we do, listen to, and interest us. They can then recall. Although it’s quitit’seet of them to do this, we must come across as sweet.
When communicating with users, this can be achieved by using a conversational, human-like tone. While personalization is acceptable, it can look creepy. Always inform the user about how you are using their data.

Designers must be familiar with these technologies to remain relevant. While we may not have mastered traditional UX (navigation, accessibility, readability, color theory, and perceived performance), these concepts aren’t nearen’tily new. Designers should be familiar with the needs of users now. Wearables, virtual reality, and augmented reality are all new to the top bosses. Designers need to master the art of overcoming these challenges. Even though VR and AR may not be able to translate into regular UX, you might get some new ideas from the experiments. The AI,AR,VRd1 is here to stay.
